Hello Elaine,
Just wanted to write you an e-mail and let you know that Darby is doing very
well. She is full of energy and always seems to find a way to make us laugh or smile. We're very grateful for her! She has
made a friend with our neighbor's chihuahua and they frequently run along the fence with each other, it's so funny to watch!
She definitely is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known and loves her family as much as we love her. I'm sending a picture
of her with the boys, I've dubbed it "the most uncomfortable sleeping arrangement I've ever seen!" Sorry the picture quality
is poor, it was taken with a cell phone. Hope all is well with you and yours!

"Hi Elaine and family:
Just wanted to give you a brief Rusty update. He is doing great with his crate-training. He
seems to like the name "Rusty" and is walking well on a leash now. I find him often in my lap watching tv--he probably did
a lot of that as a young pup. He is getting on well with Liberty and Daisy, however Liberty is a little jealous of the little
guy. His personality is particularly sweet--we know now that "loyal" translates into "lap dog" (hee....hee....). I was given
my first beagle on my third birthday and he passed on my 19th, so I have had a long love affair with beagles. I truly love
Rusty...he is doing quite well in training. He is truly loved and is lovable. I will email pictures of our beagle family soon.
Thank you for your attention to disposition in breeding your beagles--the outcome is marvelous!
Thanks again:
Frances, Wildflower Haven, Kentucky"

Elaine-
It's been quite some time since I last emailed
you any photos of Harley and I thought you might want to see how beautiful she is! She'll be two this summer (end of
June) and is still full of energy. We've recently moved to Texas, from Tennessee and she has adjusted quite well! We
are living with family right now, so she has gotten use to two other dogs, a baby and a new home- so we're quite proud
of her! At the end of April she'll have some more adjusting to do, as Joshua and I are expecting our first baby boy!
We're confident she'll do great around him, as she proven to be around our nephew! She will still always be our first
"baby" since we got her after only a year of marriage. She loves that she has a fenced in backyard to play in and still
looks forward to her daily walks. She doesn't let us skip a day! She couldn't be happier to have two other dogs to play
with and the three of them are as mischievous as ever! It's quite entertaining! We hope this finds you well and all
the dogs well too! Thanks for all your hard work!

Dear Elaine and Gary,
"Just thought I would let you know that I am doing wonderful. I love my new family. And they must love me, because
they are always buying me something. They have bought me three sweaters, two t-shirts, a rain coat and booties and that
is just the clothes. I have so many toys I don't know what to do with them all. Mom and dad take me to Pet Smart
all the time. I go once a week with dad for puppy classes and I graduate this Saturday. They are so proud of me.
They take me everywhere they go. I do real good in the car, I love it. The only thing is mom and dad said that
they are going to get me a kitten after Christmas so that I will have a friend, but what I really want is a little buddy.
So I think mom and dad said I will get one next year . I can't wait. Mom keeps calling me a big girl, because
of all my adult teeth that have come in. Mom and dad are always taking pictures of me and mom puts them on myspace.
I have had a lot of visitors they have come all the way from Michigan to see me. Mom says they were here to see her
and dad but I know they really came to see me. Oh something else mom and dad think that I am so cute because of how
small I am right now, am I going to get any bigger, I am 12 pounds now and about 10 inches tall. Well I write to you
again soon tell my birth mom and dad (Lady Kate and Ace, I said hi."

Here are some pictures we took of our little
Harley over the weekend. She is doing great and going on 5 months old! She's enrolled in puppy school at PetSmart right now
and they say she's the smartest beagle they've ever seen! She already knows how to sit, down, stay, come, leave it and drop
it! It helps that she is super "food motivated"! We're such proud parents! All the new little pups are adorable.
Joshua and I hope to one day get another for Harley to play with, so we always keep our eye posted on your site. Hope
this finds you doing well and hope you enjoy the pictures. Blessings Hilary Helms

Hi Elaine!
Bailey is
an excellent agility dog! She is currently enrolled in her second agility class, and at 8 months she's one of the very
best in the class. I'll send a video of her to you, running a course. Let me know if you can view it. We have so much
fun with her doing this, and she really loves it! We made the decision to enroll her in a class after watching her
run around in our back yard, jumping piles of wood and making quick turns...she is as FAST AS LIGHTNING! Hope to
hear from you! take care, Connie

Our Daisy is 11 months old and practically all
grown up. Here are pictures of our California Girl! She loves her "doggles" especially when riding in the
car with her head out the window. They also come in handy when basking in the California sun during the
summer at the beach. Daisy and her little brother Maverick are enrolled in obedience school. Jim and
I take them every Saturday. We're working on agility training for Daisy and Maverick for possible therapy
training. I would like to see both earn the Canine Good Citizen Award.

Elaine,
Hope all is well at Caulderwood. I check out the new babies every week and
always sit staring with a huge smile on my face.
We are so totally thrilled with Eddie. He is truly wonderful and just gorgeous
as you can see from his Easter picture, taken today, April 15.
He is so responsive to training, has mastered so many things and obeys very
well. He also is so curious and is The Observer, which is truly
amazing. He will sit like royalty, totally silent, while all kinds of things
go on around him, including other dogs walking just a few feet away, squirrels
playing all over the place, birds, everything! And he is a sky watcher,
especially at night when the planes from Tampa Intern'l are routed over our
house. He has learned the word "up" and immediately stares into the sky, checking
out everything, including the recent full moon!
The Ehrlich Aunts (the receptionists and technicians at our vet clinic located
on Ehrlich Road, thus the name) have Eddie totally spoiled to the point
that when I turn into the clinic he gets so excited. He also dearly loves
our vet, who just happens to own a 14 year old beagle, Sadie, and took care
of Charlie all the years we had him.
We are so blessed to have found Caulderwood, to have met you, to have found
the quality puppies you have, and most importantly, to have this wonderful
little guy in our lives.
All the best,
Happy Easter from Eddie
and Gail and Jay Diederich!
